For several years, I have been producing complex pieces with multiple layers, often using a number of different materials and media. This work in progress will eventually contain five layers of different materials, different colors, and different messages. Altogether, they will form a piece of art with visual and physical depth that will reveal itself only to those who take more than a casual look. The goal is to produce a piece of art that is at the same time aesthetically appealing and continually meaningful. Stay tuned for progress reports :)
